Just an observation. Maybe my ignorance has been handed down. Orange is mostly ridiculous anyway. Especially the orange coveralls and brand new orange everything to compliment the fear factor.
I was out elk hunting in 352 last week. I saw a Geo Trakker with two orange vest hunters in it. What's the deal? Am I missing something here? I thought it was bow only during this time of the year. I didn't want to try and ask. My friend also heard gun shot.
always better to be seen and not shot
I don't wear my orange while driving because I don't want hard core true hunters to think I'm a road hunter. I don't wear my camo because I don't want to scare any nonhunters or invite antis to vandalize my truck. I don't wear street clothes because I don't want the road hunters to resent me being in the woods during THEIR time. I don't wear undies because in Hunter Safety they told me careless shooters may mistake a flash of white for a deer. I wear sunglasses so I don't go snowblind from the glare, and it sure is cold when I get out. However, I am so politically correct that I feel my personal discomfort is a small price to pay in order to not offend anyone I may encounter in the woods.Too bad about all them nuns in that tour bus, though - guess I should have changed out of my woods driving attire into street clothes before hitting I-5. The Seagals seemed to appreciate it though - guess they haven't seen a real man this season.

Except when I saw them they were standing beside the road with a couple dogs. It was a man and a woman. Not sure what they were doing, maybe they were just out for a hike or looking for sheds with dogs? They didn't have guns with them, so I don't know.
