got a few...
« on: November 30, 2009, 12:47:32 PM »
well we got out on Friday and Saturday ...Friday looked to be miserable in the early morning but lucky us it turned out to be a great day...only problem was we were the only ones hunting so nobody was moving birds around....still managed 10 duckies...mixed bag and two lessers....Saturday was also a great day, stayed till evening and built a sweet blind on private property that our buddies lease...only got 6 geese and 2 ducks that day but quit hunting at 11 ...could have killed more birds though...had a flock of geese come land on top of us while we were building and cutting wood with power tools stand right there...2 geese landed inside the decoys...you could see there toenails and teeth as they landed and we stood there thinking about throwing a hammer at them...stupid us...didn't have our guns handy....but it was a great day despite our lack....awesome sunset too, and the pic turned out ok too...especially for a camera-phone

yeah the old man does pretty good :chuckle:....we pulled the two lessers off a group about 1000 yards away going right to left...man we had to blow on them calls like crazy to break the pair away....luckily on saturday the six geese we got were honkers and no lessers...but I'll shoot which ever goose is closest  :)
