Nope..unless you want to send it to Coyote Ridge or Wa Dept. of Corrections..Did it fly into the decoys or what?  You must be hunting next to a release site..
Wild Turkey, Walleyes, Whitetails and Wapiti..These are a few of my favorite things!!

It just means the bird was raised at "Coyote Ridge" which is at a prison (I think Walla Walla?)  I think the WSP stands for Washington State Prisons. (but not sure about that either)  Either way, the band just means it's not a wild pheasant. No need to report anything.

These days any pheasant story that ends with you getting one is a good story ;). Seems they are a bit tougher to come by this year. Not to many wild ones.

Haha.  My brother said he was up the canyon the other day trying to hunt coyote but every five minutes all he heard were the duck or geese hunters down at Spanish Castle.  So he ended up going home early.  I thought it was funny, might have been you, maybe not.  Still funny to me.

I have a whole bowl full of those bands. Those are the most retarded birds in the entire world. One day i went out and limited out without ever even firing a shot. My dog caught all three birds for me. I like shooting wild birds much better but I'll pretty much take any pheasant that i can get. Nice rooster and cool first bird story.

I have watched the truck pull out of the parking lot many times. I'm going to follow it one of these days.

Your right. those birds are pretty bad. I hunted a Primo game Ranch once down in Oregon called Trio Ranch. It was a business deal. I shot 35 of those things in one day. It was one of the funnest things i had ever done. Shot a butt load of Chukars too. They were all penned raised tard birds. Some wouldn't fly, they'd just lay there and let the dogs get them. It was fun though.

You know it's gonna be fun when they say "bring 100 rounds". "For pheasants and chukars!?!?!" "Yep bring 100". Well we didn't need 100 but you get my point. It was a blast.

I have a string I put all mine on and put it on my dresser.  They are released at the clockum game house and surrounding area a few times a year.  Some of em try to fly across the river to spanish castle orchards and most end up falling short and drowning :(

But ya those birds are dumb as hell.  We had one bird up swakene run and stick its head under a piece of plywood ass up in the air and thought it was hidden
