More ? about the regs

Daily bag limit: to include not more than 2 hen mallard, 2 pintail, 3 scaup (see restricted dates above), 1 canvasback, 2 redhead, 1 harlequin, 4 scoter, & 4
long-tailed duck.

does that mean you can shoot 2 hen mallards and then lets say a hen widgeon? or would that hen widgeon count towards your 2 hen count?

To answere your question, no the widgeon does not count towards the hen count.  You can shoot a daily limit of hen widgeon, woody's, teal, etc. just not more than two hen mallards a day.  Nevermind these other two idiots.

If you don't want to, you don't have to shoot any hens, so there will be no confusion.  Shoot all drakes.  Those are the colorful ones.

Why is it so hard to understand?  It isn't confusing.

I don't have a bad attitude.

It  just everyone seems to want to hold everyones hand these days.

If you can't understand simple written instructions, stay away from the sport.

listen on opening day we didnt shoot any mallards but we did shoot hen widgeon teal and shovelers and we all shot two, i read the regs before we went out and i just skimmed over the hen part, so after everybody shot two hens we didnt shoot any birds until we could tell if they were drakes or hens, we had plenty of ducks come into range but they were all hens or looked to be hens, i was just wondering if we were able to do a little more shooting that day, and obviously we were,

and if i wanted an a hole answer i would have asked for one

every time i have a question or a favor to ask i always turn to this site but if this is the sort of answers im gonna be getting then i might just find another forum

fishncliff, no need to jump down someone's throat for aasking a simple question. either answer the question with class and leave it at that or don't respond to the question at all, simple as that. sounds like a few of us are tired of ur attitude. :twocents:
