One less deer and elk killer!!
« on: December 01, 2009, 09:13:42 PM »
My bro-in-law was sitting in a stand deer hunting when this gal decides to try and sneak through. One well placed shot and she only made it 30yds. Tip of nose to tail was 6'6" he is 6'4" tall for comparison.

Very Nice. I've seen tons of tracks this WT season in Stevens County. My nephew shot one during late rifle. I'd love to do the same. I'll keep looking. Congratulations to your brother in law.

Sweet, well done!  I believe that is 3 hunt wa. members that killed cats this year while boot hunting.  Any guesses on its weight, they are a hard one to judge?  Your bro going to have it mounted, if so tell him to call Phil Soucy in Libby MT.

Nice cat! It's a rare sight indeed and sounds like a good hunter reflex for a lethal shot.

That is a big kitty.  They say the female with kits will kill two deer a week.  High five to ya for having the sense about you to put a leathal shot on her.

I am not trying to spoil the celebration and obviously don't know the details of the hunt yet, but isn't Stevens County (if it were even killed there) one of the counties that is hound only?  Maybe that starts later this month?  If everything is on the up and up great job and congratulations.  Again, just asking.

Boot tags are good for the month of December also.  If you have the permit. Thanks for clarifying that Elkslayer. I have one.
