I love the pedestals too.  If I get a trophy Elk or Moose, that will be how I have them done.  more versatility regarding where you can put them, and they look more regal.  I had my kudu done the same way.  I have an Ostrich pelt waiting for some more money to be available, and I will do it as a pedestal too.

I think the zebra looks like chess piece.

I had no desire to hunt one when I left for Namibia, but it did not take long for me to change my mine and add it to the list.  this is a Hartman Mountian Zebra, not a Burchell Plains zebra.  they travel in smaller packs up in the high mountians, and are about 150% the size of the Burchells.  the mount on the pedistal stands a good 6.5 feet tall.

Originally I wanted a Giraffe, but when I go there, the hunt was too easy so I took that off my list, and added a Springbok, Zebra and hartebeest instead.  That was a good call on my part.

1 Giraffe = (1 Zebra) + (1 Hartebeest) + (1 Springbok) - ( need for home remodel to accommodate mount) - (divorce expenses)
