Badlands "The Ox"?
« on: November 29, 2009, 08:15:15 PM »
Hey guys,
Looking at buying the Ox pack from Badlands after I sell my Eberlestock J104.  Has anyone heard anything on this pack?  I have searched the web, and haven't found any info or reviews.  It looks nice, and the packframe could be really nice, its not huge, but it would work for shorter trips.  Any info or input?

Last I talked with Issac at badlands was that they wouldnt be shipping out any until after the first of the year, they are being manufactured.  There is just a couple prototypes floating around out there.  I had my hands on one at the ATA show in Indiana earlier this year and its a sweet pack frame, very light weight!  Hopeing to get one myself!

I've been waiting since summer to get one.  I was supposed to do some early testing before the manufacturing delays got in the way.  I'm on the list to get one soon.  Should be good.

Sweet, let me know how it is.  I am thinking now that I am gonna get the Sitka 45 bivy, so it will be awhile until I ever get the Ox.

Well, if you want a J104, let me know, it is like new, with the super spike duffel.

Just looked at the link sisu put up, and that pack looks like the ultimate! I'll have to check it out. Looks like a do anything pack.

Send it back.... Badlands Warranty staff and repair ppl are the best in the industry...  Hands down!  I got my 2200 stitched up and slightly modified by their people and their turnaround rate was first class!
