Eating Cougar?
« on: December 04, 2009, 09:18:50 AM »
I was under the impression that it's not required that you eat a cougar that you harvest but now I'm wondering.............. is it? I'd love to shoot one one day but honestly I just can't imagine eating a cat. YUK.

Cougar is really really tasty!  If you shoot one and don't want to eat it let me know.  I'll take the meat in a heartbeat!

I'm pretty skeptical but I have heard a lot of folks say it's good. Well, maybe someday.

It's very good meat. Avoid the connective tissue, super tough, like spectra fibers! But the prime cuts of meat are an excelent table fare. Very much like pork in many ways.

The LONG arm of the puddyTATLAW just got one. Get him on here. I'm sure he will keep it clean and let us know how it is.

My friends all say it is like the best pork you can eat.
