Grouse for the pup
« on: December 21, 2009, 01:00:39 AM »
Today I went down to Elbe to check our trail cams and I brought the pup along. She did half way decent at quartering but it was hard for her in the really thick brush. I ended up bumping up the first bird but right after I did cami got right on it's sent. The second bird we found ran and then jumped into a tree but the dog was right on it and started tracking. As soon as she stated getting close her tail went straight up and she started creeping real slow. The bird ended up flushing but I was happy to see her do good on her first birds.

No I wasn't I was Just letting her run.  I started working with her on quartering about a week ago so she is just learning it.
