went to our road into stella this morning and the gates are locked. the area we wanted to hunt is too far to walk in so we have moved to the coweeman 550 area. anybody have any info on this area? we are looking at hunting the north and northeast side of the unit. are we on the right track? trying to get away from the crowd but it is hard to do with all the roads in here. any tips and we would be happy.kenzmad
no such thing as to far to walk, just leave earlier
It isn't keeping out the 4-wheelers though. My wife and I walked in 5 miles into the Ryderwood for late archery and there were 4-wheelers everywhere.
I know it is hard to get this number if they are moving but if you see one parked just jot down the number

If you can get the ORV # off of the 4 wheeler they can track down the owner and ticket them. I know it is hard to get this number if they are moving but if you see one parked just jot down the number and let Sierra's security guy know or call the office in Centralia and they will definitely act on it and be very appreciative for the info.

They have to catch them. I could write down someones # and say they were riding on their property. Do you really think it would hold up in court Nice try though, Sierra wants everyone to be scared....I do agree the 4 wheelers need to go though. But use my KLR 650 for hunting mostly. Being a multi purpose bike they dont tear things up. And will ride behind any gate I can get around. I dont think they are willing to do 75mph down them roads trying to catch me

He's a real class act. Above the laws and rules you know. I'll be looking for that bike on the back of a truck now.
Wont happen, I carry everthing I need to fix anything on the bike. And with a 250 mile range on the gas tank.
