get hackles up and dig in for a low down argument that really should not have happened in the first place, because if 99% of the people on the site met we'd all get along anyway

I meet many many folks from various fourms, and I gotta say that about 75%  I would not want anything more to do with, maybe its just the A-hole in me?

My post was meant to be a "tongue in cheek" response to blaming some dog for an unwanted blind partner. NO Way would I think of doing a deed in the blind since I am one of the guys who is responsible for cleaning all trash from the blinds at the end of the season as part of the WWA group.

Ray, you stated this absolutely correctly. When I first started posting on the rock climbing site people "inferred" from my direct manner that I was being some what abusive and combative (which I admit I can be), but I was not trying to be any thing of the nature. I like to kid around and joke, and at times I don't do a good enough of a job of communicating with folks in cyberspace. In cyberspace we miss the hand jesters, facial expressions, voice inflections, etc. that help us so much in communication so there is always room for miscommunication and thus arguments begin. It's too bad that this happens but that is the way it is and only by trying to let the people explain themselves can we over come this tendency to get hackles up and dig in for a low down argument that really should not have happened in the first place, because if 99% of the people on the site met we'd all get along anyway.

As someone who partakes in illegal activities regularly... I think they have little to stand on when they complain about this matter.

now that there is an interesting thread....I had no idea good ol' dirt bag would have done such a no no..He reprimanded me for talking about someone putting dog poop under someones door handles or a salmon carcass inside someones spare tire...I felt so bad I almost enrolled in nun school....

Yeah I guess the lesson is to disrespect people and their property by violating the laws and wishes of the land owners. In addition to that everyone else who walks in is disrespected because they thought that everyone else was going to actually obey the laws or wishes of the land owners and not ride their dirt bikes in. The horror to think that people are decent enough to obey laws instead of bragging about how they feel above the law or that it should not apply to them because they are not who the laws were intended for. Enlightening to say the least.
