High winds.
« on: December 06, 2009, 08:21:02 AM »
Wouldn't you know it. We get an arctic blast with perfect temps for coyote hunting and it's going to be windy! They say it's going to blow through thursday!!! :bash: I bet it's going to be good when the wind slows though. Especially if it does snow. WooHoo!!!

Tell me about it, I was going to go out and see if I could get a goose today.  Now I'm just sitting with a cup of coffee looking out the window to try to see some geese.  I doubt they are even flying in this wind!

The West Plains is getting hammered pretty good also.  Hopefully, next weekend will be better weather.

The wind woke me up several times in the night. Looked outside this morning and there is a shingle in the middle of the lawn.  :bash:

the one good thing about the wind, all the junk my pup has dragged onto the deck and lawn has now blown clear across my field and over to the neighbors.   :chuckle:

Also lost a couple of shingles. One happened to find my brand new dodge 2500 and slid across my windshield leaving nice little scratch marks from one side to the other. :'(

Howling here too......

But, I heard it is supposed to stop by midnight.  Cold and clear next 4 days.
We must reject the idea that every time a law's broken, society is guilty rather than the lawbreaker. It is time to restore the American precept that each individual is accountable for his actions.

Cold and clear for the next four days.  I am wondering how cold it is going to get in Puyallup and my commute to Bellevue.

Wonder if the forcast changed. They talked about high winds through thursday. Sure hope not. Don't mind the cold but wind can stay over on the west side or where ever Big10 hunts so I can catch up.

Hell of a windchill right at the moment.  Pushing single digits and howling. NOT a good combination.
