Well we can always go to your folks' place in Montana or hunt down at your "flatlander' friends place ...  :chuckle: :chuckle: :chuckle:.

I told you to have the chili the night before climbing the hill (re: cliff) .... on second thought,   :bdid:

Montana might be possible..  I'm looking at the first week in May possibly.  To much snow on the ground in early April in years past.  There is no climbing mountains to get those birds.  They attack you and you have to shoot them out of self defense.  Ask Dave..  I'm not a big chili fan so you have no worries there.

I'm getting excited talking Turkeys already!! I'm headed over evening of April 1st - April 5th to do some scouting and coyote hunting.  Can't wait to hear that first gobble of the year!!

TD:

Texas the first part of April????  :dunno:  We will be thinking of you during the youth hunt!   Have you hunted The Lone Star State before?  Sounds like it will be an awesome trip.

Haven't hunted Texas yet, and the primary part of the trip is for my wife to visit her uncle & aunt ... but I might just let myself be "coerced" into a turkey hunt ... or two  :chuckle:  :chuckle: ...
