Flint you talk about the constitution, freedom of speech etc. You won't find a group of guys that agree with you more then on HuntWa. Our amendments are important.

You however lack class and dignity!! The four officers were slain while meeting in a coffee shop. Ruby Ridge has zero relevance in this conversation so that also shows me you are ignorant.

FlintlOCK, you should probably save your comments for people that want to hear them. I'm sure there is some redneck, inbred, militia group out there some where that would love to hear what you have to say. Your beliefs are your beliefs, but obviously this is not the place for them to be shared.
The hero's that this memorial was for were not only officers. They were sons and daughters, mothers and fathers and husbands and wives. Bottom line, regardless of your beliefs, show a little compassion. You never know who may be on here that was related to one of them or who was a friend or who just appreciated what they did on a daily basis. I'm quite certain that you are not capable of producing any offspring of this stature, but think for a second if you could. (If you didn't disown them for becoming fine upstanding citizens.) How do you think it would make you feel if you were one of those people?

My wife & I watched the ceremony. It was tough to not get chocked up or shed a tear. God bless all men & women in uniform it is a tough job.

On a side note, please don't let one negative person detract from a well intended thread.

Good point.

I don't suppose there's pictures anywhere?  I was unable to see the procession, but I would love to see pictures.

Very well said sisu I started this thread out of respect for the fallen officer's and there families because it was a great memorial. Unfortunately one person on here doesn't know how to respect the deceased it appears and doesn't know when to shut his trap.

FlintLocker won't be making anymore disrespectful or ignorant posts on this site again.
Some people spend their entire life wondering if they made a difference. Marines don't have that problem.

Yay!!!   :brew:  In my book anyone who shows disrespect for ANY law enforcement officer (military as well) does not deserve to be heard or taken seriously.
