Christmas Charity Idea
« on: December 09, 2009, 11:15:48 AM »
Is anyone interested in finding a needy family or good cause to support for Christmas?  If the answer is yes, submit some ideas and let's choose one or two. We can raise funds by various means.  What do you think,  :bdid: or  :yeah:

Some people spend their entire life wondering if they made a difference. Marines don't have that problem.

good idea, one year{not bragging} we didn't buy any presents for our family. We bought for people at the soldiers home and some having tough times at church..It was good for two reasons. My kids got to feel how it was to not have gifts, and what the true spirit of Christmas is ..Giving..

Good idea we do outreach through our church, they in-turn work through the state, but i'm sure the need is greater than that provided, so if we know people within our community in need, I will help.   let me know,  Bret

Honesty is the best policy,  but insanity is a better defense.

With all of this cold weather we are having, I am sure that someone knows of a limited income senior couple that may need a load of firewood. Someone that cannot cut their own or afford to buy it in this economy. If you know of someone, or have a better idea, chime in with your thoughts.
