Maybe start over with a new handle if you are not a drug user.

Good going guys! Run off someone with potential new info!

420, how about a few legit questions;

How did you come across the Wolf?  Have you seen others in the area before?  What part of the North Shore?

Thanks for the support guys. I take my boat up this time of year and do some kicking around and start scouting deer for shed antlers in the next few months, and take pictures of the muleys comin down. when I saw them they were moving, all I have is a crappy little didgital camera that i didgiscope with and just simply couldn't set up on them in time.

Hello 420, welcome aboard, There have been quite a few reports of wolves on the Chelan side in the last two years. I talk to some guys last winter that live down around Chelan and they said they have had wolves for awhile now. They said they come up the M. Valley every winter to ice fish, and they had never seen so few deer in the Methow. Thanks for the information.

Well, 420, I apologize for calling you doper hippie, but again we need to be up & up on what we advocate for hunting. That said I'd love to see WA have limited entry wolf hunting.

Welcome to the forum!

I believe that he seen them.  I saw a wolf on South Navarre (I can never spell that).  I never told a soul about it, as it was during the time that Slick Willey was trying to get that entire chunk of the state listed as a Griz recovery zone.  I was afraid it would be more fuel to the fire.  As the crow flies that's not all that far from the methow valley.

What I do find interesting is now that the wdfw has officially said there are wolves in the state, poof there sure seems to be getting more and more not attached to the lookout pack.  I thought they were supposed to be territorial, not sending postcards to there cousins up north saying how nice the territory is down in Washington and move on down.

Welcome to the board 420, you have to understand that wolves in WA is a touchy subject, and it being your first post on this site kinda makes people wonder a bit.  I am fairly new to this board as well, however I spread my posts out in numerous topics and subjects that interest me.  I usually don't know what the hell I am talking about but I still put in my opinions :o

I'm seeing some donkeys coming down with the weather, but some area I watch deer winter in, I'm seeing a lot less. not sure if its the wolves or just lack of snow still, but it makes me wonder if they could already be putting that impact on the herd. I'll post some nice deer pics on the deer forum when I figure it out.

I appreciate the discussion, as I hadn't a clue about the 420 doper culture reference, and I've got a son in junior high.  One more bit of info.  Thanks.
As long as we have the habitat, we can argue forever about who gets to kill what and when.  No habitat = no game.

Yep keep an eye out for the 420 stickers and the felony forest when your kids buddies drive over.

I say he is trolling, and with a on line name like 420 why would he/she be on a hunting site that has law enforcement and red necks...hummmm

I say troll by a vegan, shroom eatin' hippy with a pocket full of marijuana.
