Anyone lost an elk up N. F. Teanaway?
« on: December 09, 2009, 04:40:08 PM »
I found a dead cow elk up the North Fork Teanaway yesterday evening.  It looks like it has been dead for a few days.  The coyotes had it pretty torn up so I couldn't see if there was an arrow/bullet hole in it.   Anyone shoot one up there and not find it or hear about somebody wounding one?

I doubt you'll find anyone jumping to say they lost an elk on the forum here. May have been a bad shot, maybe died from predators or other, natural causes. Just hope it wasn't worthless poachers looking to kill something and leave it.
