Early Christmas Present to Myself
« on: December 10, 2009, 04:38:04 PM »
Since I had like $800 in Cabelas cash and gift cards as well as points and $100 off coupon if I put it on my Cabelas card,  I had decided to buy a new Kimber Crimson Carry at Cabelas for $1050.  However while checking out Cabelas gun library on line I saw a like new /used Kimber Custom Covert .45 ACP (5 inch barrel) on line in their Hazelwood Mo. store for $1160.  It sells at Cabelas new for $1500.  After talking with them in Mo. I decided to pay $35 shipping to the Lacey store.

It arrived today, and after seeing it, I was satisfied with both the description and condition.  Had the kimber case, manuals, gun lock etc.  Laser grips worked perfectly.  To top things off, Cabelas had signs out in the gun section advertising 10% off pre-owned firearms, which I promply asked if it applied....it did....sweet.  Final cost...$1044.  So out of pocket to me on my card after tax and having it shipped is going to be like $370.   Man I love good deals!  Merry Christmas to me!   :whoo:
