Went out for a drive to one of my spots today with the boy and got to watch two bucks one of which was real nice chasing a hot doe that must have gotten missed the first time around.  they chased her down within 50 yards of the truck before she lead them off, can't wait for next year already.

This is my favorite season.  Application Season.  Don't forget Wyoming elk apps are due January 31st.

i know what you mean but for me thats part of the thrill too. i love to find some big bucks try to keep tabs on them all year and then have that antsy feeling leading up to the season  of if your going to be able to do it or will someone beat you to it. its part of the rush and never gets old.
