Here's some pics of a buddy of mine w/ his Idaho moose from this year, the bull had a piece of horn lodged in his head above his right eye.

Is your buddy a Taxidermist out of Coolin?  I heard about this bull one day while I was hunting the Selkirks for Moose this year.  Another Idaho tag holder told me a Taxi from Coolin killed a bull with a horn lodged in it's head.  Cool to see some pics.

very nice bull. hope he mounts the tine in there. i seen a whitetail with a tine in its neck one time  but a moose is intense  :yike:

Yeah he's a taxidermist and plans to mount it as-is.  Can't wait to see it done.

Thats what I would do, would have loved to have seen the fight that moose was in to get that.
