Ear Tags??
« on: December 14, 2009, 01:21:37 PM »
Does anybody know of a database or phone number to call into to find information on ear tags on deer? I have an ear tag here and would like to know something about it.

you guys are screwin with him right? if radio collard elk are OK i can only imagine a ear tagged deer is fine to shoot. those radio colliers sure make finding them easy what channel did you have it on to pick up the ear tag?

MOOOOOO!
In archery we have something like the way of the superior man. When the archer misses the center of the target, he turns round and seeks for the cause of his failure in himself.

Where was it killed?  I can probably point you to the right person, to at least know what you are talking about and get you to the person doing the study.  If local to your Moses lake area, call deer research bio Woody Meyers at WDFW Spokane office, or District wildlife bio Rich Finger in the Ephrata office.
As long as we have the habitat, we can argue forever about who gets to kill what and when.  No habitat = no game.

Tried both of them, I can't get a call back. Here's the situation: I work for Grant PUD down at Wanapum Dam as a biologist. On Saturday, someone dumped a very young buck off here at the dam and it has became quite the nuisance/pet. I relocated him to where he will survive while I try to find him a home. He is someone's pet, guarenteed. I will give him to a zoo if I don't here anything.
