Gunsmithing School?
« on: December 15, 2009, 01:14:00 AM »
I love to work on guns, it has been a hobby of mine for several years.  Does anybody know of a good gunsmithing school in the area.  I would really love to broaden my horizons and learn how to do it all.  If you have any ideas please let me know.  Thanks.
There's a reason they call it hunting, not killing.

I am a graduate of the School of Trades there in Lakewood.  Trust me, if you do not have the money to open your own shop, and live until it starts to prosper, you are in for a surprise.  Yea, you might get a job at Glock in Georgia, if you are lucky, but those jobs are far and few between.  Unless you are really really good, you might be wasting your money.

I graduated with honors and even was an assistant instructor after graduating, and I am out of the business now, since there was no way to make a living working for someone else.

By the way is John Stewart still teaching there???
By my honorable conduct as a hunter let me give a good example and teach new hunters principles of honor, so that each new generation can show respect for their god, other hunters and the animals, and enjoy the dignity of the hunt.

Calling an illegal alien an 'undocumented immigrant' is like calling a drug dealer an 'unlicensed pharmacist'.

Tough trade to earn a living. I know guys who have been doing it for quite some time. The guys who make it big like Baer, Brown and JP are 1 in a million.
