Went over for a day hunt and got a little shooting in, sure was cold- 6 deg.!! The rooty was a wsp released bird..

Good job and nice picture. I assume a "rooty" is a pheasant? Never heard the term before. But I'm not surprised. I had never heard shotgun called a "shotty" before until a year or two ago on this board. Make sense, I guess... you shoot a rooty with your shotty.

A couple birds is always better then no birds, but getting out ,cold or not, is really what it is all about. Nice work, good picture.
