Way to go We call those "Vail Special's". Hunters wait all year for the opening of the Vail tree farm to shoot bucks just like that. I know i have and a two buddys of mine took simular deer to yours this year. A few years ago a buddy had a "European Mount" done with his and it looks good on the wall above the fire place. He calls it his Unicorn

Congrats Jesse!I am both happy and proud for you. I know it has been a hard year for you, your family and friends. But you are still out there doing the things you love. Not sure how many times we ran into you over the summer while fishing, picking shrooms or just taking pics with your dad.I know that this is just the begining and there are probably a few more surgeries, but there are also more deer, elk, fish and other critters as well.Again, congrats.
The reality is that Jesse is and always been a hard huntin individual. He has had some excellent mentoring through his dad. Everything he does he does to the fullest from school to hunting or whatever he takes on. He built his own bow one year and took an elk with it the same year. We were there for him, all of us but Jesse and his family did all the work and felt all the pain. We have watched Jesse grow into as fine a man as there is. He set his mind to hunt this year and he has kept at it. I missed his call this evening because I was out of service range but now I know why he was calling. Congratulations Jesse, I'll be up for a steak & mushrooms this weekend. And don't kid yourself, you did it and you would have done it without us anyway. What we did was all we could because we couldn't feel your pain or help you heal. I am proud of you my friend.
