From the sound of it, I must be the only person who doesnt care for deer heart. I'm a big fan of jerky so I'm wondering if anyone has tried to make it into jerky and if it was any good. I would assume it would taste awesome but I've never tried it so thats just a guess.
Well ouch nobody helped you with the cooking so I'll tell you the secret..... You need to soak it in milk overnight to get the gamey taist out. Looks like your cooking skills are PPPuurrrrrfict and now I'm hungery too!remember, it's just another muscle ...so don't over cook it. I add sage , garlic, salt and pepper. YUM
