They do exist!!!!

Well after one of my toughest years of hunting I finally got one!!!! He's not exactly a pope and young buck ( in fact he might score maybe 1 or 2 inches  ) but he's a trophy to me. His horn ( he only had one) was so small that I couldn't see it and I thought I had actully shot a doe!! There isnt too much of a story behind it. This last week I've been putting in a lot of time walking down old logging roads around the Humptulips area and havent really seen squat for deer. Ever since the accident my legs are nowhere near what they used to be so Im kinda stuck hunting easily walkable areas and the few deer that I have seen have been too far away in the woods for me get close to........until today. After a couple walkins this morning I decided to hit up some area around Humptulips that Ive never went into before. I drove probably 1 mile down a road and I glanced down a dug up road as I was driving by it there were 3 deer standing there. I hopped out of the rig and started walking down the road and the deer hopped in the bushes. When I got to the spot where the deer had hopped in there was 1 deer standing there about 10 yards staring at me. I drew back and stuck him with a frontal shot just a little right of center. He ran off and I called my dad to come help track him for me. He ran about 150 yards form where I had shot him.

I can't tell ya how happy I am!!! I was starting to think that I was gonna have eat tag soup this year. I gotta say thank you to everybody on this website who helped me out especially Killbilly and Billythekidrock for all the hard work they've done to make this a SUCCESSFUL season for me .
