So my dad is one those guys who has to give a buck or bull a name based on the horns and he's been yelling at me to post the name he gave it.

You know, I did some thinking about this today.. The fact that you choose to stick with archery instead of taking "the easy" way of rifle hunting says a lot about your character and perseverance.

And to quote my father when I told him about your deer, "not bad for a guy who nearly died a year ago".
