Vet Recommendation
« on: December 16, 2009, 09:01:07 PM »
I'm looking for a good Vet in the Bothell or Woodinville area. My current vet seems to have an issue with hunting and has made a few comments that made me decide to make a switch.

Thanks in advance for any help.

Cheers!

when we lived up there we took our dog to one across the street from the safeway in the juanita area, don't remember the name but they were very good.

SnowDog, would you elaborate on what you mean by the vet is making comments that indicate he or she is opposed to hunting?

I'm in the process of applying to vet school, and I'm eager to hear what some of the anti-hunters in my field say to their clients.

It seems odd.  Even if a vet doesn't hunt, it seems that any one who loves and understands dogs would also respect what years of selective breeding have allowed them to do.  I think it's one of the most fascinating things to watch a pointer point or a shepherd herd.  Heck, I've even tried talking my schnauzer-owning buddy into taking his dog out on a mouse hunt just to watch his instincts come out.

Oh well.  Sorry to hear about your experience. I'm sure there are lots of qualified vets out there that are hunter-friendly.

you could try Lance Weeks at cherry valley vet hospital if you want to go to Duvall. we've used him for years without issue.
