Hey Carl, Several of the better makers have stretched the power range a little, I think the 2.5 to 10 is ideal for WA. I have a BDC Nikon Monarch in that config that I got on my R-15 from Ricky. I love that scope, gonna put it on my Dtech 243wssm upper, as that round deserves a better scope than the 204. (I don't do prarie dogs, and the 204 is only a 250 yard gun for Coyotes in my opinion.)
