Just givin a friendly warning to all potential suitors.

Take heed, gents. Doin you all a big favor.

Bushnell is the best value for the money.

The best thing I can think of using these binos for is a paperweight. Maybe the neck strap could be used as a stringer for steelhead?

..............as always, offering sobering truth.

I'll go along with this. IF you compare the geovids to other comparably priced optics (SWAROVSKI). The Geovids are JUNK........... :twocents:

:dunno: Maybe crack makes the Swarovskis look (a lot) clearer.   :chuckle:

Crack tends to enhance my vision.

The view I get from the Geovids is comparable to........say, your vision after a night of self hatred with your enemy: Jack Daniels.

Agreed. I had a pair of Geovids for about a week and I couldn't unload those bulky things fast enough.

We don't need optics.  We just put our hands in the brush, and feel for points.  It there are enough of them, we shoot it.  That is manly hunting.

You are right the Geovid is so much heavier the SLC, Im taking mine back cause they are lugs. They are 31.7 oz and the Swaro SCL are 30.7 oz. That 1 oz will take a load off so I can pack out a bigger rack! Who needs the range finder anyway. Not worth the extra ounce in my book.

Thanks for the tip.

I wasn't referring to weight. The difference is carrying something the size of a shoe box around your neck compared to something the size of a pack of cigarettes. :chuckle:
Oh yeah, I emailed them at leica and the weight you are referring to is minus the battery weight used to power the rangefinder ;) So go ahead and add 11.5 grams to that total 8)

No one from Moses Lake has any business talking, I moved to ML in about 1954 moved away in 1969. I had to take an IQ test to get into college, just moving out of ML it went up 86 points! LOL
I really think you need to look at Tasco.
