I recently did a lot of research on this also and ended up buying the Leica CRF 900 Rangemaster from Cameraland NY.  Excellent service.  I payed less than what it is selling for right now but they have it for $429.99.  Spend a little extra than you want and get a high quality rangefinder.  You will not be sorry! :twocents:
