Nice buck,congratluations. :tup: a hunt of a life time to remember i am sure.special hunts like that are priceless. about your not excited about the  taxidermist i dont know what to say they dont understand sometimes i guess, all my stuff is in the garage, a b/c mountain goat,a trophy bull 6x7,scoring 328 ,numerous bucks,some big some small none of it allowed in house, well at least i still get to go out ,congrats again.

no. everyone who fills out their harvest reports by a certain date gets entered into a drawing to win one of these tags.
i think the date is january something or other.

I noticed last year the "deadline" for reporting your tags was actually BEFORE the late archery elk season in the Blues was over (we have a hunt here that ends 31 Jan).  I dont report until after that season is over.  I know they had a caveat on the website that those of us reporting archery elk tags after the deadline date would not be counted as "late", but I wondered if that meant we wouldn't be eligible for the drawing... I know this tag is a shot in a million, but it would be nice to know if my name was even in the pot...

I believe I got the word about 3-4 weeks before regular permit drawing results were out. I posted the following day, that post must be around here somewhere...
