Ruger SR9
« on: December 23, 2009, 01:37:53 PM »
So I got a Ruger SR9 about two months ago and have to say this Pistol Blows away my Glock 19 in every way, I own 3 Glocks and the Fit and feel along with the reliability so far of my SR9 is awesome! Anyone own a SR9? I compared it to my Springfield XD Glock 19,21 and 34 and for the money the Ruger wins hands down! The SR9 feels the best in my hands, all the pistols have been proven to be reliable but the Ruger costs is $150 - $200 less in price and its slim size makes it easy for carry, it has a external safety and holds 17rds of 9mm. Anyone else jump on the SR9 bandwagon? just curious.

I would love to jump on that bandwagon, but money is an issue. I love the feel of the SR9, but when I get a pistol it will most likely be a P345.
Never, ever let Creed hold you baby, it will ruin it and you will have to get another.

They are nice looking guns and feel nice in your hand.  I was looking at one and discovered the inability to fire the gun with the magazine ejected.  Some feel that this is a safety plus.  For me it was a deal breaker.

to each there own i looked at them as well good fittings pistol but went with my xdm in 40 sw but i do agree i would buy the sr9 100% of the time over glock. i am not a glock fan at all one of the few guns i will not own.
