Chehalis River Duck Drift first week of Jan.
« on: December 25, 2009, 11:39:44 AM »
I am going to be in the area sometime first week of January and would like to float the river.  I have hunted it for many years but will not have a boat with me.  Anyone want a tour of the river near Chehalis, let me know.

I used a 12' starcraft with a 15hp on it and a trolling motor (I don't think I would do it with a jonboat though).  Never had a problem, even at flood stage.  I did like my Zodiac better, but the ex got that.  I like the excitement of birds blowing up out of the brush.  I knew where they usually hung out but there were always some to surprise a person.
