Idaho Moose
« on: December 27, 2009, 10:59:41 AM »
My cousin from Idaho shot this moose unit7 on the 9th day of a fourteen day hunt.He shot him above the road about 100ft rolled him down and had him cut up in about two hours. He was 37" He drew this tag on the first try. I thought about trying to draw a moose tag in id but still cant talk my wife into the 2000 dollar tag fee. :o

dpete, nice moose your cousin got there. If you check into some guided moose hunts up in B.C. $2000.00 is REALLY cheap. Try telling your wife you are planning on a B.C. hunt and it only cost $5500.00, then tell her "oh look, I found this Idaho moose hunt and it only cost a mere $2000.00 if I draw. She will like the $2000.00 option much better.

dpete, you can always go to Alberta for around $7500 including mount and kill one like this:
