Our new addition to the family
« on: December 27, 2009, 09:09:17 PM »
Ok I know hes not a hunting dog but I know there are alot of people on here with Land & Cattle that have heelers so I thought I would share some pictures.

This is Jack Daniel McCabe a 4 month old Australian Cattle Dog (Blue Heeler) He is kind of uncommmon coloring be he has a super sweet personality.  After one day hes alreayd catching onto the potty training (YESSSSS!!!!)  and he went on his first full day of "Work" with Zach & I...also kind fo funny he points .....yes points at things like a GSHP kind of funny

Good looking pup.  You will not have to worry about anyone bothering you when he grows up.  They are very very protective.
By my honorable conduct as a hunter let me give a good example and teach new hunters principles of honor, so that each new generation can show respect for their god, other hunters and the animals, and enjoy the dignity of the hunt.

Calling an illegal alien an 'undocumented immigrant' is like calling a drug dealer an 'unlicensed pharmacist'.

Great dogs had a  few growing up, loved each of them. Known a lot of other ones and did not care for them or them me. Most heelers are a one person/family dog, best thing for that person/family everyone else watch beghind yourself :chuckle:. We had real highstrung ones and more mellow ones, I liked the mellow ones better. Keep him well socialized with animals and people and you will be fine.

he goes to the barn with dad everyday meets tons of horses dogs and cats and especially people and we are not allowing him to heel anything under any circumstances... the working ones tend to be more aggressive in my opinion had one before and she was a bia

Great looking pup. I've had a soft spot for Blue Healers since I was a kid. My grandparents had one on the ranch that they lived on in northern Wyoming. His name was 'Blue' of course. Great dog.
