Conservation Season Snow Goosin'
« on: December 28, 2009, 08:41:20 AM »
Anyone thinking about heading east for the conservation season in Feb-April? I'm trying to finaggle another trip to Missouri. If I go, it'll be the last weekend of feb, like Feb 25th-March 1st, hunting Fri-Sun.  Just hard to schedule the time away from home this year because I have a big work trip in January, and then probably another in Feb.

I hate to think there's only a month left in the season I try to plan one more big hoopla.

yeah I saw that too. i've been talking to him a bit. Last year I hunted with Ron Ruhr, he was a good guy. However, at $125/day including meal is pretty hard to beat. I think Kansas would be too early in the season for me, but the extra couple of weeks for the migration to hit Nebraska and NE Missouri would work.
