my 09 blacktail
« on: December 28, 2009, 08:12:05 PM »
last day of late buck. short and sweet.

i found a nice honey hole up on copper creek and this puppy was walking the sky line. i dropped him one shot behind the shoulder. 2 mile pack out it would have been allot shorter if i would of came out the way i came in but i would have had to cross the creek and go up hill most of the way. i decided long and easy was better  :IBCOOL: i was in no hurry. he weighed 190 hanging! trying to get my in the field pictures off the camera.

Congrats on a nice buck. Might try boning out the animal next time.
