Here are my first pics with my new camera, I know they are not the best but I am a rokie and still learning.

Awesome Rene', you just opened yourself to a whole new sport. One suggestion for you and maybe anyone else that may be reading, read your manual and learn how to change your exposure. When shooting in snow like that, the camera tends to meter off it, dropping your exposure 1/3, 2/3 or a full stop will get you more detail and keep it from blowing out too bright. Always remember that its better to have the image a little under exposed than over exposed, I can work with you on getting this figured out. ;)

Thank you Rob!  I am downloading Photoshop Lightroom as I type.  I will make those adjustments as you have suggested.  I can see where you can get hooked on that really quick.  Now I want a bigger lens  :bash: that will have to wait a little, or not  :chuckle:
