My new Take Down Long Bow.....
« on: January 15, 2008, 09:36:42 AM »
Well it is done, my new bow....   If your interested in the guys name who built it just PM me and I'll send it out.  He is great guy, met last year Caribou hunting in my old spot.  He is from Idaho.  The personal touchs are too cool, Caribou antler tips and Moose on the Riser.  Mike

Nice! Looks like Bubinga, Cocobolo and maybe yellow heart or amarillo in the riser!
Limb veneers of cocobolo or Rosewood...dont see that too often!
Is she a shooter?

I hope you didn't cut up one of those caribou sheds you were going to give me. :)  I like how he did it.  I love that about custom bows.

Cocobolo on the limbs for certain, with a couple others I forget the names elsewhere.  He also just made a new one piece long bow with such dark cocobolo on limbs it looks like it's black.  Really cool stuff.....
