Yep you got me there. I couldn't remember the model. Here's mine. Notice the engraving. I could still be wrong if Browning did the same engraving but I doubt two makers did that.  :dunno:

looks alot like the 16 my neighbors grandpa gave him, but his is an ancient weatherby 16 pump
TANNERITE needed for target practice on opening day of each hunting season.

Information is still being sorted out but unfortunately this fellow hunter has lost his hand. The surgeons could not save it. 

Family in Idaho that know Shawn well say that he is a super friendly guy and an avid pheasant hunter. It appears that this was a very freak accident by someone who hunts and shoots a lot. He is still in the hospital in Spokane. Keep him in your thoughts and prayers. We're very glad that he is still with us and will perhaps hunt again some day.

DANG......Glad he still has his life.  Shotgun accidents seem to have a way of making a person reflect.....
