im about to go set my trail camera up i got a question?

my buddy lives up by the gates of Mt. rainier and two cougars have been roaming around killing some of the fawns  and theres allot of deer up there.

what should i put out for bait i know the deer up there like dry cob but any other suggestions or even if i should just put something out for the cougar?

I would put out bait for the deer - that will bring the Cougars in to see whats going on. Not sure what bait to use, I would probably throw out a deer block, salt block and a few flakes of hay. How long do you plan to leave it out?

Well you need some kind of meat for a meat eater.
