A nice mushroom...
« on: December 31, 2009, 07:11:45 PM »
Here's one for the Sirocco lovers. Pards 257, 3600 mv, bout 150 yards, perfect shot. This was also Montucky this year. Sure do like swift boolits.

Very nice.

I like the CCI Subs myself. Not as fast, running just under 1,000 FPS.

If you guys are recovering bullets from the animals, you need to step up a couple calibers. Everybody knows that a bullet doesn't work unless it goes clean through the critter. :chuckle: :peep:

Heard good things about the Sirocco's.  Is that a Remington 257wby mag in the picture?  Id still really like to have a 257wby.

Yep. 700 LSS. He just sent the bolt back to Kampfeld, flute job, hunter knob, and skeletonized bolt handle. He's also ordering a McMillan for it. Just won't leave well enough alone!! grin... Another pard has the 257 in the CDL fluted/blued. Also a nice gun. Perty cool round, got some 80 TTSX's to work with, they should be deer killin sumbitches!!
