What is the story on Omak Lake.
Is it deep enough to run a outboard without fear of hitting a boulder?
Where does one go to buy a reservation license?

Again be patient with me as I have lived here a short time. If anyone is heading to Alaska give me a heads up and I'll gather my data on the rivers of South Central for anyone that needs information.

YEs and no.  Plenty deep for your boat, just have to be careful as there are some submerged rocks, similiar to Banks Lank.  Good Lahontan Cutthroat fishing.  I've water skiied there lots, so plenty of boat room.  You can probably buy one in Omak.  I'm not sure if there is still a toyn sport there, or maybe Walmart in Omak.  I bought mine in Inchelium, but thats a long ways from where you'll be.

You can buy a 3 day license for about 20 bucks...walmart in Omak probably carries them.

Buy them at wal-mart usually. Great fishing. can run outboard easily. Single barbless hooks only makes it very fun. dont like to say this much, but it's full of fish big ones at that and barely anybody fishes it average fish around 5 pounds dad caugth one that was 10 pounds. havent been in a couple eyars but we really had it down catchign around 30 fish a day catch and release.

Wash you boat when you pull it out.  The water there is very alkiline and makes a mess of the boat.

The drug runners from Canada think so :chuckle:
