Have to work in wenachee for a few weeks anybody know if the hunting is good?

There is a lot of bird up north of Weantchee, but you need a boat

Hunting is slow.  If you don't know where the birds are passing and holding it's gonna be a disappointment.  The ducks are there, but rafting hard and making it difficult to get shots.

:yeah:  Quite a few birds have pushed out and the ones that are here are rafting up in the middle of the river and are perfectly content with being there the entire day. Even a boat going by will just make them get up and go right back down. If anything I'd go up north around Pateros or Brewster but if you dont have a boat that will be tough.

That was our exact experience.  Even with 10 boats at the launch the birds wouldn't move.

Although the bluebills flew, sadly you can only shoot 3.  I coulda easily shot 7. :bash:
