Dogs addictions?
« on: January 05, 2010, 03:46:21 PM »
Does anyone elses dogs have any addictions other then birds?  My dog is addicted to ice cubes and will come running from anywhere in the house when she hears the freezer open so she can get an ice cube.

my dog because an instant *censored* whenever tennis balls are present. i don't keep any tennis balls in my house or in my garage, i no longer take him to the dog parks because of tennis balls and i don't let him have anything to do with them.

Great question! One of my labs is addicted to limes. Not to eat, but to retrieve them. I get scraps at the local grocer for the pigs and chickens and always throw out a few limes for her to have on hand. She goes through them pretty quickly with them being in her mouth all the time.

Socks! My puppy likes socks! I feel I dodged a bullet when she threw up the other day. She ate a mixed pair! We no longer use a laundry basket, now it is a laundry hamper with a lid!

remotes and phones (house and cell)... my dog could be at the neighbors house and if i drop the remote from my recliner he will come skidding across the hard wood floor to and fight me to get the remote so he can give it to me....  i think he has a few screws loose... also flashlights...  turn on a flashlight and he'll get the biggest eyes and just sit there and stare at it...  he goes crazy for flashlights... and he use to try and bite the living room light when i turned it on... i've got him over that though...  he may seem a little retarded but man can he work birds...
