some ducks
« on: January 20, 2008, 02:21:04 PM »
I have been in walla walla for 15 days and will be her for another 8 helping with the wind storm damage. There is a sweet park that has all kinds of ducks, exotic pheasants, and other birds. I took a lunch break and checked it out. Seen some ducks I have never seen before. Here are a few shots with my FX9. Man I cant wait to get a new camera. If I get it before I leave here I will get some shots of some more ducks.

The one with the orangish head is a Red-Crested Pochard. Very cool duck!

Thanks. I had never seen one before. He was pretty cool. The goose gave me some neat close ups too.

Im a property adjuster for Farmers Insurance. Printing checks as fast as I can for the good people here. Sad to see all te damage. I am having flashbacks of wenatchee a year ago. Good thing wind is a covered loss.

You guys cant hate me now that I have told you that I am in the insurance business. :chuckle: I pay for what I can and hate denials.

If I had a better camera this shot would have been killer. Check out the beaded water on his head.

Sure are some nice looking birds.
Handle every stressful situation like a dog. If you can't eat it or destroy it, piss on it and walk away!
