I was trying to take some pics of exploding fireworks, man I tell you it was not easy. Any suggestions for next time.

I am by no means a pro, but decent fireworks photography starts with a tri-pod and then move on to fiddling with shutter speed, etc. I think a few of the shots you got were pretty cool looking.

I have no idea, but I like some of the ones you took. I have a point and shoot that has a fireworks tab. Have never tried it. I Usually cant stay up late enough for the fireworks anyway. Just listen to the noise. And calm my dog because she is always freaking out.

That's some cool fireworks effects, the only thing I would do is a tripod, and then you wouldn't have gotten the cool wave in the fireworks, I like them the way they are

Here are a few of the hundred I took on the 4th of July, definitely use a tripod, a remote shutter release and set your dial on manual, ISO on 100 and roll the shutter speed all the way to "Bulb" that is what I did on these pics, you will get rid of all the camera shake that way, I held the shutter open for 3-5 seconds depending if it was a quick blast or a few in a row !!!
You got a great start !!!
