Find a farmer with silos and barn.  Not sure how to trap them but most farmers should be more than happy to get rid of some of their flying rats.

If find a barn wait till they roost, set up the net at an opening at one end and then close up the other escape routes.  Then come in from the other side and drive them out through the netted opening.

I live in Tri Cities, I am going to try and find a barn nearby and trap them, probably use a cage and install a one way door with some cracked corn inside?

sounds good i talked to a guy who said not to use a one way door but to make a funnel with an opening at the end about the size of your fist.  he said you will catch more birds because they dont have to push anything with their heads.  he also said to set the trap up but leave the top open for about a week and keep filling it up with food so that the birds get used to going in and out of it so when you do go to trap them they wont have any problem going into it.  good luck.

I live in Zillah and I am getting about 20 to 30 homing pigeons.  You are welcome to have some since I am getting them for free.  When I bought my first English Setter, the breeder was also doing field trials.  He had homers and shooter pigeons for training.  We would mark our launchers with different flags for shooters and homers.

You will not be able to use this group of homers but if you let them bred and raise the young you will have an endless supply of birds.  I also have another connection for regular pigeons I am getting for free and if you need someone I can get you some of them to use now.

I need 150 pigeons early Feb. Another 150 by late Feb and another 150 mid March.

There is also a possibility of needing about 100 mid Feb and 100 late March but, not yet confirmed.

Anyone interested in sending me a bid? Three different dog clubs need birds for up-coming training days. Easy way to put some cash in your pocket if you can trap those numbers. I can meet up for delivery just about anywhere. I'm in Eastern Wa. about 2-3 days a week and Fall City the rest of the time.

Let me know what you've got. Paul aka "Happy" Gilmore
