need hunting partner
« on: August 08, 2010, 11:14:31 AM »
I will be hunting in Western Washington with a black powder rifle for blacktail deer and I was hoping to find somebody willing and able to join up with me for safety/security.  I have maps of 651, 648, 658, 660 and 667 and some experience in and around those units, but I'd be willing to try new areas - particulary if inhabited by good blacktail bucks.  I have a 4x4 pickup so getting around the forest roads isn't a problem.  I live in King County, but could hook up with someone in King, Pierce, Thurston, Gray's Harbor, etc.  Please send a pm if you are solo and want to team up or if you have room in your small group for one more.  I am a responsible, mature adult with a great respect for our outdoors and resources.

D Dubya, I would imagine you should have no problem hooking up with someone to hunt with. Alot of good guys on here. Many guys would be more comfortable after they get to know more about you. Keep posting and chatting it up with folks and hit this request again later once you are a bit more established may help....

Good luck and welcome to the site. Also, not sure if you posted there but we do have an introductions thread where you can introduce yourself too.
